Introduced in 1992, Model 2000 was a new departure for Colt from its traditional service style semi-automatic pistols. Chambered for 9mm double-action-only pistol, with 4.5" barrel and choice between polymer or aluminum alloy frame. Weight: polymer frame 29 oz.; aluminum alloy frame 33 oz. Grips are black composition and sights are white dot. Dropped from Colt line in 1994.
