Conventional type bolt-action rifle, with cocking knob located at rear of bolt. Two styles of buttstocks were used: flat style and later an oval shape. First Hamilton rifle chambered for .22 LR cartridge. Barrel was 20" steel. Finish was blue. Weight about 3.5 lbs. Produced from 1935 to 1941.
