Large version of Lindsay design. Chambered for .45-caliber smoothbore. Has 8.5" part-round part-octagonal barrel. Other respects similar to smaller models. Inventor tried to sell this pistol to the government, but was unsuccessful. Estimated 100 manufactured between 1860 and 1862.
