"Krieghoff Suhl" stamped on back above lanyard loop. Second "F" in Krieghoff was defective and all specimens have this distinctive die strike. Safety and extractor are marked in German. Only a few hundred manufactured, with four-digit serial numbers with letter "i" suffix.
