Sidelock 10-, 12- or 16-gauge double-barrel shotgun, with fluid steel or Damascus barrels 28" to 32" in length. Models 1883, 1885, 1887 and 1889 are all somewhat alike, varying only in form of their hammers and internal mechanisms. Blued case-hardened checkered pistol-grip stock, with a grip cap. Available in a variety of styles including highly engraved models that should be individually appraised. Approximately 30,000 manufactured between 1883 and 1909.
