Quite similar in appearance to 1st Model. Major difference, elimination of third or triple lock device and heavy ejector rod shroud. Other changes are internal and not readily apparent. Standard in .44 S&W Special chambering, but offered rarely in .38-40, .44-40 and .45 Colt. Specimens have been noted with adjustable sights in 6.5" barrel lengths. Standard barrel lengths 4", 5" and 6.5". Approximately 17,510 manufactured between 1915 and 1937, serial number range 15376-60000. Note: Add 50% premium for factory target sights. Standard chambering is .44 Special, add 75% to 100% for rare original .38-40, .44-40 or .45 Colt caliber.
